GROUNDED by Mind & Soil

The GROUNDED mentorship program has not only expanded my gardening knowledge, but it has connected me to an incredible community of growers who are learning from each other. I can't wait to apply the knowledge I've learned this season!

Before GROUNDED, I experienced a shift in mindset and knew I wanted to learn more about how to become self-sufficient in the garden - but didn't know where to get started. Feeling overwhelmed and unclear of my direction, my conversation with Jordan gave this unexpected clarity and I knew I needed to apply. Jordan has created a beautiful community of passionate and curious gardeners from all backgrounds. We've learned so much already, but most importantly, the connection has been beyond my expectation. I feel so inspired to continue on this mindful journey in the garden.

Mind and Soil’s Garden Mentorship has re-grounded me into gardening as a practice that not only can supplement my family’s grocery budget, but as a practice that sustains my spiritual and emotional self.

My partner and I decided to after years of not super successful harvest from our gardening efforts that we needed to find a mentor. The Restorative Garden Mentorship with Mind & Soil made understanding the garden and all the variables with so much ease. The garden planning and tracking forms made what was once an overwhelming task became a fun experiment that supported us in creating our dream garden. We brought life back to our soil, built and created a successful hot compost area in our yard. We learned how to not only grow big beautiful gardens but the focus on the mindfulness in the garden and in each of our zoom lessons together we would do a short Breathwork meditation and visualization that added so much more to our lives than what we were cultivating in our garden. I cannot recommend Mind & Soil enough if you want to learn how to garden, how to have more fun experimenting in your garden and to tap into a beautiful garden community. The Gardening Mentorship has transformed my relationship with my garden from adversarial to something much warmer and more peaceful. I understand now that gardening is a series of experiments and I am not personally responsible for every death of every plant, and this has made my gardening time actually fun. I could not be more grateful to Jordan for his unique approach and his guidance over the last year.
